Water Pumping

Water pumping where there is no power line can be accomplished with either renewable or nonrenewable alternative energy sources.  Typically today, we will use either solar PV or an engine driven generator (The Self Starter™) to produce the electricity that is needed to run a pump to deliver the water we need.

The choice of power source is dependent on several factors.  There are circumstances that will, in certain situations, rule out the use of solar PV because of the inability to get the volume of water needed when it is needed.  In other situations and circumstances, we will find that either a generator or solar PV will work equally well, and then it is simply a matter of choice as to which technology to use.

Sometimes we set up a solar PV system that can be backed up with an engine driven generator to ensure that water needs can be met when unexpected adverse conditions hamper the solar PV.  There are also times when we feel that solar PV is the obvious choice.  Each situation is different and must be evaluated on all of the criteria surrounding the need for power, and we do that with your water pumping information, which you can supply to us with the water pumping information form.
