Solar PV
Solar photovoltaic (solar electric, or solar PV for short) refers to devices that convert sunshine into electrical energy. Solar PV starts with the most recognizable piece of equipment – the solar PV modules which are those “panels” that we commonly see on a roof of a building or a pole in the yard. Together with other pieces of equipment that you normally do not see, things like inverters, switches, maybe some batteries, etc., which, when arranged properly and wired together, complete a solar PV system that generates electrical power for the owner of the system.
