If you are building new, or have a place without power and want to power it with renewable energy, then proceed to Off Grid Analysis.

Alternative Energy
When we talk about alternative energy, we are talking about a supply of electrical or energy from any other sources other than the power grid. These energy supplies are divided into Alternative Renewable sources of energy and Alternative Non-renewable sources of energy.
Alternative Renewable sources include, but are not limited to:
- Solar PV (solar electric)
- Wind turbines (electric)
- Solar thermal steam turbines (electric)
- Solar thermal, which includes solar hot water for domestic use and/or heating purposes, and solar hot air space heating.
Alternative Non-renewable, includes, but is not limited to:
- Standard engine generators
- PTO driven generators
- The Self Starter™ – a very intelligent generator we call The Self Starter™ that can operate on its own and monitor its health and needs, as well.
These are all electric power producing generators where fossil fuels are used to provide the energy behind the driving force.
