State of Montana Senate Bills 226 & 253

For those of you who live in the great State of Montana, man your phones, email, or whatever your favorite form of communication is, and let your district Senators in Helena know that you are opposed to SB 226 and SB 253, and let your Representatives in Helena know that you are opposed to HB 424. These bills that are before our governing bodies, are measures that will limit, reduce, or eliminate incentives for using renewable energies, or for installing newer appliances or upgrading construction materials for energy conservation purposes in our State. Shouldn’t we keep encouraging more energy efficiency in everything we do, and encourage the use of clean, renewable energy as a first step toward the day when our finite supply of fossil fuel produced energy is gone? If you think so, then now is the time to get active and let the people you voted for in Helena know what you think.
